WHAT IS IT?

This PDF download comes from the Walking Jazz Standards episode #20 on the famous Jazz standard, “Confirmation”, full-length lesson video linked below. This download includes a 4-chorus walking bass etude, or study, both with and without tablature (TAB). This etude comes from the “REVISITED” episode of Confirmation for WJS. As stated in the video lesson, I wasn’t very happy with the composed line in the previous episode – not to say it was a “bad” line – but I had the desire to rewrite a Confirmation bass line that was more melodic, thematic and interesting to play and study.
