WHAT IS IT?

The Jazz Blues in Bb is one of the most important progressions in all of Jazz Music – and it can be challenging to create strong, cohesive walking bass lines. This download will introduce you to walking bass phrases played by many of the great Jazz bassists from the past. This download includes an 8-chorus walking bass etude, or study, both with and without tablature (TAB). If you struggle with reading traditional sheet music, I recommend following the TAB notation and watching the video demo several times. This composed line is recommended for intermediate and advanced-level walking bass students.
